What kind of aluminum plate is suitable for bending?

We often need to bend when processing products. What aluminum plates are suitable for bending? In fact, there are many aluminum plates that can be bent. If only aluminum plates can be bent, the most important thing is to combine the status of aluminum plates.

For the aluminum plate state, we can distinguish it according to the full hard state, semi hard state and soft state. Generally, the soft state mainly refers to the O state of the aluminum plate. The bending effect of the full hard state is not very good. In the aluminum plate state, H18, H19, H38, etc. are generally full hard. The aluminum plate in the semi hard state can be basically folded, and H24 is also semi hard.

Generally, there is no problem when bending in the "O" state. However, because the aluminum plates in this state are too soft, we rarely use aluminum plates in this state for bending. At the same time, we should pay attention to the distinction between pure aluminum plates and alloy aluminum plates when selecting aluminum plates. Generally, the hardness of pure aluminum is not too high. Specifically, pure aluminum can be bent with 1100, 1050, 1060, etc., and it is recommended to use 1100H26.

The hardness of alloy aluminum plate will be better. Generally, 3003, 3005, 5052 and other semi hard aluminum plates can be used for bending. If 6061, 2024 and 7075 are used, due to their high hardness, especially in T6 state, they should not be bent. Unless you warm them up, good aluminum plates are different from poor aluminum plates in terms of oxidation performance, tolerance, surface effect, crystal precision and uniform stability. The bending effect alone is not different. If the aluminum plate surface is used for baking paint, it is not recommended to use too good aluminum plates. 3003-H26, 3005H24 or 5052H34 can be considered.
